CPL(A) Commercial Pilot License
CPL commercial pilot training entitles you to fly commercial flights within the scope of an approved airline company, i.e. for money! However, in most cases a future employer expects at least the combined CPL / IR pilot license, i.e. the combination of a commercial license with instrument rating.
The instrument rating (IR) entitles you to fly in bad weather conditions too, as you then don’t fly the aircraft by sight but solely using the installed instruments and under radar control. For you this means that you can plan your flights to a large extent irrespective of the current weather conditions.
CPL commercial pilot training can therefore be taken as a separate course after the private pilot license or as a combined course with simultaneous instrument rating.
We offer CPL training as a full-time course within the scope of our regularly held ATPL airliner transport training courses or as a combination of distance learning and face-to-face instruction.
For the practical training the same applies as for the private pilot license, here too we are guided by your individual wishes on 7 days of the week!
IR(A) Instrument Rating
The instrument rating (IR) entitles you to fly in bad weather conditions too (IFR), as you then don’t fly the aircraft by sight but solely using the installed instruments and under radar control. For you this means that you can plan your flights to a large extent irrespective of the current weather conditions. Due to the fact that, among other things, Sofia airport your possible flying home base, is equipped with an instrument landing system (ILS) and is approved for flights under instrument flying conditions, this additional training taken after the private pilot license is especially attractive if you want to fly even in poor weather conditions.
The IR(A) instrument rating builds on the private pilot license, but can also be combined with simultaneous commercial pilot training (CPL)!
You will either be taught in a 5-week full-time course or, if you are working, in a combination course.
For the practical training the same applies as for the private pilot license, here too we are guided by your individual wishes on 7 days of the week!
